LM 3S

WATER-BASED PRIMER FOR HIGH QUALITY BITUMEN BASED WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE

LM 3S is a water-based primer made by high polymer modified emulsified bitumen. It is used to strengthen the bond between bitumen waterproofing membrane and the substrate.

LM 3S creates a protective layer from penetration of vapour and seals the capillary pores.

  • Use before application of bitumen waterproofing membrane.
  • Make sure the substrate is in a clean and dry state, surface must be smooth and hard before priming.
  • Use brush or roll to apply material evenly onto the substrate.
  • Recommended coverage is 0.2 – 0.4 kg/m2, one layer.
  • This product is safe for handling, storing and application
  • When the product gets into the eyes, rinse eyes immediately with clean water and go to the nearest hospital or health clinic for a check-up.

  • Store LM 3S in dry, ventilated and covered condition
  • LM 3S should be placed at least 20 cm above the
    ground
  • Don’t put product in areas with high humidity,
    the product must be covered entirely when left
    outdoors
  • Storage temperature ranges from +5°C to +50°C
  • Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
    Product life can be up to 24 months if stored in good storage condition.
  • Casting concrete after installing LM1001 a maximum of 40 days.
  • Should use sand as backfilling material.
  • Waterproofing membrane must be protected from mechanical damage.
  • Foam or geotextile protection layers are recommended outside membrane backfilling.
  • All technical datasheets are based on laboratory test. Actual measured data may slightly differ from specification.
