LM1001 Waterproofing Membrane
PRE-APPLIED HDPE WATERPROOFING SHEET MEMBRANE
Option A/B: With/Without a protective sand layer
LM1001 is an HDPE waterproofing membrane that fully bonds with fresh concrete. This product consists of the following components:
- 01 layer of HDPE sheet providing absolute waterproofing
- 01 layer of strong adhesive bonding which can be bonded to fresh concrete
- 01 optional layer of collected sand which can protect the membrane from direct sunlight and increase bonding ability with concrete.
LM1001 is designed for heavy duty purpose, it can be set rebar and casted fresh concrete directly on top (without protection layer).

- a. Packaging: 1.0 m x 20 m/roll
a. Substrate preparation:
- The concrete surface must be clean, free of dirt and sharp objects.
- Surface of lean concrete must be flat, solid without gaps greater than 10 mm.
- Standing water must be cleaned by compressed air prior to application of the waterproofing membrane.
b. Membrane application:
- Directly place HDPE side of waterproofing membrane on the lean concrete or formwork, sanding surface facing concrete structure.
- Long edges of the rolls shall be overlapped a minimum width of 80 mm and firmly joined together by self-adhesive function with rollers.
- Short edges of the rolls shall be overlapped and sealed by Tape LM 01ST.
- Width of Tape LM 01ST is 80 mm. Firmly adhere LM 01ST by rollers after application.
- Clean the membrane by water, remove the garbage, loose materials and sharp objects. Remove all standing water on the membrane before pouring concrete.
- Only remove formwork when concrete has reached a minimum of 10 MPa or after 4 days.
- This product is safe for handling, storing and application.
- Keep product away from any heat sources.
- This is a non-toxic and environmental-friendly product.
- Users shall refer to the most recent Technical Data Sheet for physical, ecological, toxicological and other safety-related information.
- Store product in dry condition.
- Don’t put product in areas with direct sunlight, rain, snow, ice.
- Storage temperature ranges from +5°C to +40°C.
- Rolls must be stored in original packages, in vertical position.
- Casting concrete after installing LM1001 a maximum of 40 days.
- Should use sand as backfilling material.
- Waterproofing membrane must be protected from mechanical damage.
- Foam or geotextile protection layers are recommended outside membrane backfilling.
- All technical datasheets are based on laboratory test. Actual measured data may slightly differ from specification.
