LM3001 Waterproofing Membrane
HIGH QUALITY BITUMEN BASED WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE
LM3001 membrane consists of 01 PE film made with special technology creating a waterproofing layer with high elasticity and good puncture resistance. The flexible modified bitumen layer with high adhesion properties has excellent bonding ability with wet concrete substrate. LM3001 waterproofing membrane is designed for many different purposes, various types of structures and locations of the construction project.
- Integrally bond with concrete structure, prevent water from traveling between waterproofing membranes and structure
- Great bonding with fresh concrete or wet concrete substrate
- Flexible, can be pre-applied or cold-applied
- Automatic healing for damages with dimension D ≤ 2mm
- Easy and safe application
- Non-heat application
- Non-toxic, environmentally friendly.
- Suitable for Type A Waterproofing – Standard BS8102
- Urban tunnels
- Basements of buildings
- Non-exposed roofs of buildings, squares
- Basement roofs
- Tree basins, roof gardens
- Outside drinking water tanks, sewage tanks, domestic
wastewater tanks - Outside swimming pools, water reservoirs
- Retaining walls, foundation frameworks, balconies,
loggias, etc. - All other underground concrete structures.
- a. Packaging: 1.0 m x 20 m/roll
- b. Thickness: 1.5 mm
- c. Auxiliary product: LM 3S adhesive
- Packaging: 25 kg/bag
a. Substrate preparation:
- The concrete surface must be clean, solid, free of dirt and sharp objects.
- Any adhesion reduction factors such as oil, loose materials, bitumen, grease, plaster, etc. must be removed.
- Irrigate more water if concrete substrate is too dry. Concrete substrate can be damp but without standing water. Standing water must be cleaned prior to the application of LM 3S adhesive.
- Places with edges or corners, feet of walls must be beveled or rounded with mortar or concrete.
- All defects on the concrete surface must be treated with specialized mortar.
- Concrete surface shall not have cracks or gaps greater than ≥ 10mm. Structural cracks must be repaired before applying waterproofing membranes.
b. Application method:
- LM3001 waterproofing membrane is applied with LM 3S adhesive.
- Mix LM 3S material with clean water, mix 1 bag of 25 kg with 10 – 12 liters of water depending on the environmental condition. Make sure the material is not hardened and the container is not damaged before use.
- Mix the waterproofing materials by low speed mixer for 2 – 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture.
- Apply LM 3S within 40 – 60 minutes (depending on environmental condition).
- Plaster or laminate LM 3S mixture on concrete surface with a consumption of 3 – 3.5 kg/m2.
- Remove the protecting film layer of LM3001 and place the membrane on the surface of LM 3S mixture while it is still wet.
- Use roller to lightly press LM3001 waterproofing membrane in order to remove all air bubbles.
- LM3001 membranes are joined together by overlapping joints, overlapping splice is at least 80 mm. Use roller to firmly seal the membranes together.
- The finishing layer should be done on top of the membranes within 10 – 15 days after the application of waterproofing layer. The delay can later affect the duration of the membranes.
- This product is safe for handling, storing and application.
- Keep product away from any heat sources.
- This is a non-toxic and environmental-friendly product.
- Users shall refer to the most recent Technical Data Sheet for physical, ecological, toxicological and other safety-related information.
- Store product in dry condition.
- Don’t put product in areas with direct sunlight, rain, snow, ice.
- Storage temperature ranges from +5°C to +40°C.
- Rolls must be stored in original packages, in vertical position.
- Should use sand as backfilling material
- Waterproofing membrane must be protected from
mechanical damage - Foam or geotextile protection layers are
recommended outside waterproofing membrane - All technical datasheets are based on laboratory
test. Actual measured data may slightly differ from specification.
